The Community You Choose
There is nothing more powerful than the community you choose to surround yourself with.
Every relationship within your community holds the power to love you, support your growth, expand your opportunities, and allow you to give the same in return.
I had the honor of serving a group of women during our Soul Sisters Retreat last year in Paris. It was truly incredible to witness the creation of a community when people come together with similar values and the desire to expand their lives and create deep connections. And now, as we prepare for our next retreat in just a few short weeks, I want to share my reflections on the experience.
“Four incredible women arrived in Paris seeking a retreat—nourishment for the minds, bodies, and souls.
Each woman showed up with intention, fully present and open to the process. It was their springtime in Paris, where love, curiosity, vulnerability, honesty, and genuine interest blossomed into creativity, joy, growth, and understanding.
It was within this sacred space of the retreat that each woman had the opportunity to expand, to explore, and to be seen—fully and completely.
As a life coach, I knew before the retreat even began that these women were not satisfied with living in the realm of “good enough”. They were searching for more.
My intention was clear: to shine a light on the wisdom and greatness each woman already carried within herself and to help them move beyond the comfortable limitations of the familiar. I wanted them to step into their own unique greatness.
What I witnessed over those five days was nothing short of extraordinary. The power of fierce female connection and the strength of the relationships formed among them were awe-inspiring. With each passing day, the respect, understanding, curiosity, and love they held for one another deepened in ways that were palpable.
It was a reminder of the immense power we hold when we come together, embrace vulnerability, and hold space for one another’s growth.
We talked about careers, relationships, parenting, passions… and everything in between. But in the end, intuition reigned supreme. It was the quiet inner wisdom of each woman that guided her, leading to breakthroughs, deep insights, and a renewed sense of purpose, passion, and desire.
My heart is full, and I am deeply honored to have been part of this journey.
These women came to Paris for a retreat, but they left with something far more precious: the courage to step into their highest selves and the bond of sisterhood that will continue to support them in their personal evolution.”
A community like this doesn’t happen by accident. It’s created through deep intention, shared values, and more than anything, the courage to show up as you are.
Whether it’s through a retreat, a friendship, or a circle that feels like home, the community you choose shapes the way you see yourself and what you believe is possible. When you surround yourself with people who honor growth, honesty, and authenticity, you’re reminded again and again of who you truly are.
